The Durham Alumni Chapter Of Phi Beta Sigma in partnership with the McNair-Harris Crescent Foundation would like to announce that our 2022 Scholarship Application is now open.
The McNair-Harris Crescent Foundation Scholarship is offered to any high school student residing in the Durham, Wake, and Orange County Communities meeting the eligibility noted on the flyer.
The Delta Zeta Sigma Legacy Scholarship is offered to a son or daughter of a Delta Zeta Sigma Chapter Brother residing in the Durham, Wake, and Orange County Communities.
Please take the time to share with all of your social outlets, as all scholarship applications are due no later than April 1st, 2022.

Duke Blue & White Weekend, NC State Conference and More

#WelcomeToDurham – Good morning! By now you may have heard that the PBS NC State Conference scheduled for this weekend has been canceled. No worries. If you are still looking for a way to escape some of Hurricane Florence’s hard-hit areas or just want to hang with the Brothers and the Sorors, there is still a lot of Blue & White happening in the Bull City this weekend. Duke Sigmas and Zetas are hosting their Blue & White Weekend celebrating 25 years of serving the campus of Duke University and the Durham Community. There is also a little bit of the NC State Conference still happening this weekend too. Check out the schedule below:

11th Annual B&W Founder’s Day Ball (Durham/Raleigh, NC)

Delta Zeta Sigma & Eta Sigma Graduate/Alumni Chapters present the 11th Annual Blue & White Founder’s Day Ball. The event will begin at 7:00 pm. Tickets can be purchased for $65.

For our 11th year, we are taking over the entire ballroom at the Sheraton Imperial Hotel in Durham. The event will feature a catered buffet, silent auction, live music/entertainment by the Anything Goes Band.

2019 Phi Beta Sigma Scholarship

The Durham Alumni Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma (Delta Zeta Sigma) is looking for graduating African-American males to apply for the 2019 Phi Beta Sigma Scholarship.

Phi Beta Sigma Inc. is committed to providing scholarship opportunities to deserving African-American male students. The Phi Beta Sigma Scholarship Program encourages graduating male high school seniors to apply for scholarship monies. Academic excellence, displayed leadership abilities and participation in extracurricular activities are taken into consideration during the award process. Award amounts vary.

Qualifications

– Graduating African-American Male High School Senior
– 2.5 GPA or better (4.0 scale)
